Art In Old Port Garden - History

2004:

2nd Annual art festival included 45 area artists in a two day event. Artists ranged from novice to professional with a good representation of Port Dalhousie talent. This festivals intent is to give area artists a first class venue to show their work by keeping the fee and commission significantly low. Guests get the added pleasure of touring a historic home and gardens within the realm of historic Port Dalhousie.

2003:

In its first year, 36 artists, primarily from the Port Dalhousie area met for a weekend of fine art at Stable House Studio. Community support was overwhelming and word quickly spread that this was a festival to look for! Guests enjoyed viewing art in the historic home and meandering through displays set up in the spacious gardens.
